The rooms at The Gunjur Project Lodge are simply amazing! I stayed in a double room with a balcony, and the garden view was absolutely stunning. I loved having my morning coffee on the balcony, surrounded by nature. The seating area was a nice bonus too, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the wardrobe in the room. I felt it was a bit small and didn't provide enough space for all my clothes.

I had an amazing experience at the Gunjur project lodge. the staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. the drumming workshop with Butch was fantastic and highly enjoyable. the lodge's location is perfect, just a short walk to a beautiful shell strewn beach. the accommodations, although basic, were clean and comfortable. the pool provided a refreshing way to cool off, and the open-air restaurant and bar were great places to unwind and have conversations with the staff and other guests. it was a memorable trip thanks to the beautiful family who run this eco-lodge.

Amidst all the wonderful activities and workshops, the Gunjur Project Lodge surprised me with its stunning outdoor pool. Great location, conveniently located close to the best beaches and attractions. the staff was attentive and provided great service. the food was also good, with a variety of options to choose from.

The rooms were not up to standard and in need of an upgrade. the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom facilities were outdated.

As a business traveler, I had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful lodge in a beautiful country. the location of the lodge is close to a lively fishing beach, a large mosque, and a stunning swimming beach. the rooms were clean and well-maintained, with ensuite showers and toilets. the staff were attentive and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. the food offered at the lodge was fresh and delicious, with a wide variety of Gambian and Western options. the lodge also offered a range of activities and trips, providing a great opportunity to explore the real Gambia. the swimming pool area was a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun, and the bar was a great place to unwind after a long day. the lodge provided a unique and enjoyable experience.

One negative aspect is that the swimming pool was described as dinky, suggesting it may not be as large as some travelers might prefer.

The only thing we would've loved is if they had a party night for young peeps like us. A rad DJ and some sick beats would have taken the fun to another level!

What an amazing Easter experience! The accommodations were great and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the major attractions in the area. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The meals were awesome and we got to try a lot of local dishes. Another highlight was the pool, which was clean and perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. We also loved the fact that there were different excursions available, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

That the internet connection was not very strong, and we experienced some slow speeds. , the water pressure in the shower was not consistent, sometimes it would be strong and sometimes it was weak.

The decor at the lodge was charming and reflected the local culture beautifully. The common areas were spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and socializing with other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the lodge was easily accessible, with well-maintained paths and ramps that made it easy for me to navigate the property.

It would have been even better if there were more activities tailored specifically for senior people. Perhaps some gentle exercise classes or cultural workshops that catered to our interests and abilities.
